Last updated: September 25, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Arie ("Arie", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use the Arie app and this website. Arie is a personal phone operator: it acts on your requests, such as adding events to your calendar, sending messages or summarising notifications.

Information we process

How we use information

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use the content of your messages, calendar or notifications for advertising.

Permissions

Arie asks for device permissions only when a feature needs them. You can grant or revoke permissions at any time in your phone's settings; some features may stop working without them.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run Arie (for example hosting and AI processing providers), bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations; when you ask Arie to send something to someone; or when required by law.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email team@heyarie.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children

Arie is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
